Research
Ice Age dust storms are witnessed by a thick layer of windblown mineral dust on the Channel Islands. We study these deposits to understand Ice Age environments and climates.

Past sea level changes are recorded by raised beaches found along the Channel Islands’ coast line. We study the age and height of these layers to reconstruct sea level history in the Channel.

Sand dune formation is linked to environmental change. We study the timing of past dune formation at St Ouens, Jersey as response to abrupt North Atlantic climate changes.
